    VCM Scanner ProTM

A next generation real-time scanning and alerting technology designed to identify each of the explosive market events from which VCM Traders profit. VCM Scanner ProTM is a standalone software program which provides the most advanced streaming real-time, statistical and technical analysis of the stock market. VCM is revolutionizing the world of trading with training and state of the art tools. VCM Scanner ProTM is just another example. This software combines all of the standard scans you would ever want to have (everything from gap lists to extended runs to breakout from standard deviations) to all of the VCM tested strategies.

VCM Scanner ProTM is lightning fast. It utilizes very little of your computer's resources. Best of all, it can be used to find all of the VCM strategies you have been taught in our seminars.

    VCM Scanner Pro

Fully Customizable – You have the ability to select multiple scan windows and choose the strategies for each window.

You can add your own personal watchlist to any or all scans, or take any standard watchlist (or all stocks) and filter the list based on dozens of criteria (note the scroll bar in the picture below, only 9 of dozens are shown). For example you can instantly find all of the stocks that are up at least eight 5-min bars and have a spread of less that .02. Or you can find all of the stocks in your own personal watchlist that are at the top 5% of today's (or yesterday's) trading range. The combinations are endless.

Every scan can show a wide variety of information including a 'mini chart'.

Or you can 'shrink' the scan window to show only what you want to see and display them side by side.

Once you have a set of scans, you can save them all as a page 'layout'. You can save multiple layouts and bring them up as desired. For example, you may have a layout called 'pre market' that has scans that show pre market gapers, high volume pre market stocks, etc. You use that before the market opens. Then you open your 'Opening' layout that shows scans with 'one minute hi/lo breakouts, etc.

You can go back in history to see your scans results, and with the odds maker you can test to see the odds of you strategy achieving various dollar gains with various dollar stop losses in place. You can link this to virtually any trading platform and have all of the alerts you have set automatically link to your platform once they trigger.

VCM Scanner Pro is going to revolutionize the way you find stock plays. Try it for free for five days.

VCM Scanner ProTM - OddsMaker

The Odds Maker is an add-on module inside VCM Scanner ProTM

  • Calculate the odds of winning trades on any VCM Scanner ProTM alert and filter combination.
  • Know in advance which trading strategies produce profitable trades in the market.
  • Evaluate strategies based on win rate of strategy, average winner, average loser, net winnings.

The Odds Maker becomes a valuable tool in a trader’s arsenal.

  • Avoid trading strategies without knowing their odds in the market.
  • Understand where profits can be taken and stops can be placed.
  • Instantly answer the following questions:  Should I be going long or short?  Are breakouts following through or are they failing?

Backtest the entire market – confirm you’re using the right strategy
Most other backtesting tools can only track one stock or instrument in their analysis.  The Odds Maker looks at all the exchanges or custom symbol lists to determine the odds for a winning strategy.  The Odds Maker is a quick and powerful tool that considers what’s working now – in other words, what strategies are the most in tune with recent market activity?

Test a strategy’s win rate – set expectations for winners and losers
The Odds Maker goes back approximately three weeks (15 trading sessions) in time and scans for all the occurrences of a pattern that a trader identifies in the VCM Scanner ProTM application.  The Odds Maker then produces a performance summary to tell a trader how many trades would have been made during that 15-session period, how many were winners and losers, the average size of winners and losers, and the net profit/loss trading that pattern.  The performance summaries can be for the entire market, a selected basket of stocks, or an individual equity.  User-controlled features help traders tweak entry and exit criteria and see how these impact profitability.
